Congratulations to the Battle of the Books team for placing 1st in their county competition for the 2nd year in a row!
The library is closed today for a meeting. The Book Fair will reopen on Monday.
The baseball team swept a double header against Helena last night. The first game was won by a score of 8 to 2 and the second game was won by a score of 7 to 5. The baseball team will play a double header at home this evening against Riverchase starting at 4:30.
Congratulations to the Lady Hornets Softball Team on their big wins yesterday: a 15 – 0 shutout and a 14 – 1 win! Come out Monday and watch the lady hornets play.
Middle School Football parent meeting tonight (3/10) in the main gym at 6pm.

March 14 – 17 is “National School Breakfast Week”. Eat breakfast in the ChMS lunchroom ALL FOUR DAYS for a chance to win a $15.00 I-tune card. Four winners will be announced Friday, March 18.
Yearbook applications will NOT be accepted after Monday, March 14th
Beta Club inductees – today (3/10) is the last day to turn in fees and forms to Mrs. Edwards.
There will be a mandatory Parent Meeting for those interested in being a ChMS Cheerleader or Starlet for the 2016-17 school year on Thursday, March 17th at 6:30 pm in the media center. This includes cheerleading, dance team, and majorettes. Estimated fees, camp dates and other information will be discussed at this time. Clinic for all 3 will be April 11-14th 3:30-5:30 and tryouts will be Friday, April 15th.
