These are 2 upcoming meetings for parents to learn more about course selection before students make their choices for the classes they need/want to take for the 2017-2018 school year. Please add these to your calendars.
January 23, 2017, 6pm at Chelsea High School – for parents of current 8th graders (rising 9th graders)
January 26, 2017, 6pm at Chelsea Middle School – for parents of current 6th and 7th graders (rising 7th and 8th graders)

$10 admission at the door
$1 candy, pizza and drinks
DJ, war ball, karaoke, games and more
For all 6th- 8th graders
“2nd Portion of Physicals: For all those needing to complete the 2nd portion (doctor exam) of the physicals, please be sure that your child is at school on Friday by 8:15. We will be loading the buses beginning at 8:30 to go over to the high school. 6th graders will go over first and then 7th/8th graders will go over on the second trip no later than 8:45-9:00. All portions of this will be done during school hours and will complete your child’s physical. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE UP THIS FRIDAY! “Golf Tryouts: Golf tryouts will not be next Monday. The tryouts are currently being rescheduled for a different date. Information about the make-up date will be posted in school for the kids to see, on our Facebook page, and through the ListServ messaging system. If you have a current 7th or 8th grade boy/girl currently interested in trying out for our ChMS golf team, please email Coach Butler at h2butler@shelbyed.org to provide him with contact information and for preparing a tryout roster.”
