CHMS 5th Grade Parent Nights:
Chelsea Middle School will offer 2 meetings for the parents of upcoming 6th graders. They will cover important information about the 6th grade as well as answer many of your questions about middle school.
CPES – May 16 at 6:30pm in the CHMS cafeteria
FOES & MLES – May 17 at 6:30pm in the CHMS cafeteria
Due to scheduling conflicts with Chelsea High School graduation, the 8th grade banquet will be moved from Wednesday the 24th to Tuesday the 23rd from 6-8 P.M.

Back to school shopping for next year right now … Are you kidding me? Let me remind you of the chaos that comes with last minute back to school shopping in the summer. Why not shop on-line with 1st Day School Supplies versus in-line at Wal-Mart, Target or Staples. In just a few clicks, you will get the exact supplies your teacher requested without the hassle and aggravation that comes with shopping last minute at big box retailers.
Attention 8th grade parents, please see below for a message from the high school counselors.
If your child wanted to make course changes and did not turn in their course verification form by last Friday, May 5th, you would need to complete a schedule change request form and submit it with a $25 check made out to Chelsea High School.
If your child doesn’t meet the prerequisites for a course, a course waiver must accompany the schedule change form. Please see the counseling office to obtain these forms. These forms are due by May 19th.
A limited number of extra yearbooks will be on sale this Friday. The cost is $50, and they will be on sale in Mrs. Nivens’ room at 7:10 Friday morning. They cannot be purchased before Friday.
