Friday will be Athletic Wear / Hat day. Bring $1 to wear your athletic wear and $1 to wear a hat… $2 for both.
7th graders are currently in the lead with 121 items donated for the hurricane victims of Puerto Rico. 6th graders are in a close 2nd place with 116 donated items. 8th graders are in last place with 55 donated items. Whoever brings in the most by the end of this week will win a pizza party for their entire grade! 8th grade drop-off is Mr. Laseter’s room, 7th grade drop-off is Mr. Thornbrough’s room, and 6th grade drop-off is Ms. Houston’s room.
Any 7th and 8th graders interested in trying out for the CHMS Golf team are invited to sign up by joining the Google Classroom 7cicit by November 17th. All details and information are located in the Google Classroom. The code is posted on the Golf blog on the CHMS Athletics website. Please check your email regularly after you join the Google Classroom for details on your eligibility.
Anyone that went to PAL and needs to pick up medicine from our nurse at schoool, needs to do so by Friday at 3:00 p.m. The school will not be open over Thanksgiving Break.
The Winter Dance will be Friday, December 1st from 6:30 to 8:00 for 7th graders and 6:30 to 8:30 for 8th graders. Tickets will be sold during lunch from November 27th to December 1st. Tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door. (No actual ticket. Their name will be on a list.) Dress is semi-formal. Pizza, soda/water, and cake can be purchased at the dance for $1 each. A photo booth will be available for $1 per person / per picture.
