Students who are interested in mountain biking! The Shelby County Composite Team (comprised of students from Shelby County schools) will have their first meeting on October 10 at 6:30pm at Oak Mountain State Park. This is an opportunity to meet the coaches and learn all about the upcoming Alabama MTB season. Location: Oak Mountain State Park Main Office (the large building with the beach behind it) All students are welcome if in grades 6-12.

ChMS Boys Basketball Tryouts- Boys basketball tryouts for our current 7th & 8th graders will be October 10 & 11 at the Chelsea High School gym. 7th graders will attend from 6-7:30 pm both days. 8th graders will attend from 7:30-9 pm both days. Athletes must have a current physical and All-in-One form on file. These must be turned in by October 9 at 3 pm. No walk up sign-ups or paperwork will be taken the same day of tryouts. Athletes can sign up during PE class in the main gym. You may contact Coach Hibbs or Coach Jackson with any additional questions.

Who: ChMS Volleyball Teams – What: VB Teams vs. teachers Volleyball Match VB Daddies vs. daughters Match – When: Thursday, October 4th 3-5pm – Where: CHMS Main Gym – Why: To honor Kristi Ingram, the CHMS Volleyball teams will partner with the Sideout Foundation to raise money to help fund Stage 4 Breast Cancer Research!!
