7th Gr Students: After you report to your advisory class, you will be called to report to the gym for a presentation by the Birmingham Southern College Men’s Basketball team. When you are called, please place everything in your locker before reporting to the gym.
FCCLA is sponsoring an “ Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest” this Thursday, December 6. Buy, borrow or make a sweater or vest – as long as it’s over-the-top ugly! Wear your Christmas, Hanukah or Winter themed sweater or vest tomorrow (12/6) and pay $1.00 to support FCCLA community projects. Prizes will be awarded.
The Winter Dance is this Friday (12/7). 7th gr time is 5:30 – 7:30 and 8th gr is 6:00 – 8:00. Tickets are $10 and will be sold during lunch.
Students, please check your email to see if you owe any overdue items to the library and return them as soon as possible.
Beta Club will meet in Mr. Stafford’s Room (Rm 30) on Friday (12/6) at 7:20 am
8th graders – today (12/5) is the last day to turn in your yearbook ads
Middle School Band Concert will be Dec. 6, in the Chelsea High School Auditorium. We accept non-perishable food items as “admission” to support our hometown Heavenly Smiles Food Pantry.
Beginning Band 6:00 p.m.
Concert Band (7/8 gr) 6:45 p.m.
Symphonic Band (7/8 gr) 7:30 p.m.
FBLA is making care baskets for the parents of babies in NICU. Drop off bins are located in the work room by the main office and in Mrs. Smith’s room in the 6th gr building
Miss Merry Christmas Pageant will be Saturday, December 8th, at 2:00 pm in the CHMS cafeteria. See Mrs. Nivens’ blog for a link to the pageant page for details and to sign up.
