December 12 – Announcements

If you are a current 7th or 8th grader, Heroes, Cards, and Comics Club will meet this Thursday, December 13 from 3:00 – 5:00. Remember, you must return your signed permission form to Coach Lovett in order to attend.

Are you particularly good at a specific subject? Do you like to teach? Are you bored during your afternoons? You’re just the kind of person we need for TutorMe, a tutoring program for struggling schoolmates and elementary kids with trouble during classes. Applications are only available for 7th and 8th graders. Join the application classroom with the code gl8rg0 and apply today!

In-school physicals will be January 4. If you are planning to participate, you need to pick up a physical form in P.E. The cost will be $10.00. The money and forms need to be turned in to Coach Butler by Dec. 14.

Students please check your email to see if you owe any overdue items to the library and return them as soon as possible.

FBLA is making care baskets for the parents of babies in NICU. Drop off bins are located in the workroom by the main office and in Mrs. Smith’s room in the 6th grade building.

Parents of the students who attended PAL, if you wish to pick up your students medicine that sent to pal please do so by 1 p.m. on December 14. All medicines left after that date will be destroyed. Please contact the school nurse if you have any questions.

All Book Olympiad participants need to check Google Classroom for an update.

This Friday, 12/14, will be “Free Athletic Wear Day”. You will be able to wear athletic wear and will not have to pay!
