Announcements – January 30, 2019

The 6th grade Blue Valentine Dance will be held on Tuesday, February 12 from 3:15 – 5:15 p.m. After school the boys will report to the choir room and the girls will report to either Ms. Campbell, Ms. Prosch, or Ms. Caiola’s rooms. They will stay there until the dance begins. Pick up from the dance will start at 5:15 p.m. in the car rider line. Tickets for the dance are $10 each and will be sold in the cafeteria during lunch on February 4th – 8th. Concessions will be sold and a photographer will be on site. Students should wear their dance attire to school and should be in school dress code. No check-ins for the dance will be permitted.

There will be a parent meeting regarding course selection for the 2019 – 2020 school year for parents of all rising 7th and 8th graders on Tuesday, February 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the ChMS cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

The Geography Bee has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 29th. If you plan on competing, add your name to the sign-up sheet in the office and pick up your study packet.

Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue, Carnations Are Waiting To Be Sent By You! Flowers will be delivered Febraury 13th during advisory. Place your order during PE with Coach Trice starting January 28th – February 5th. The prices are 1 for $3, 2 for $5, 5 for $10.

Parents please read the attached letter concerning scoliosis screening. Please only sign and return the letter if you want your student screened at school for scoliosis.

FBLA meeting this Thursday morning at 7:15 in Mrs. Smith’s room. Bring or wear the FBLA shirt for a group picture.

Athletic Boosters will be selling candy during Advisory this Wednesday.

FBLA will be selling Chelsea Flip Flops and Slides. They will cost $25. Items will be ordered and delivered before Spring Break. The money is due 2/15. Please send attention Mrs. Smith , make sure to include size, and if you are ordering flip flops or slides. Please see the attached order form.

Any girls who are interested in trying out for middle school or high school volleyball need to go to the ChMS Volleyball blog for a link to the sign up forms.
