“ChMS Wrestling: Summer Sign Ups- Any current middle school student (6th, 7th, or 8th) interested or planning on wrestling next season needs to sign up during PE class with Coach Butler. Students will be provided with a parent letter, contact form if need, and summer calendar. An informative email will be sent out the first week of April once students have returned their contact forms. Within the past 6 years, our wrestling program has won our conference 3x and been runner up 2x. For the past 3-4 years we’ve had one of the stronger programs in our state. The majority of our wrestlers have been successful and many have gone on to be state qualifiers/placers at the high school level. Our wrestling program would love to have as many current 6th and 7th graders as possible to come try the sport out this summer. Current 8th graders are also welcome to sign up for the high school program as well. If you have questions, contact Coach Butler at h2butler@shelbyed.org or 205-682-7272.”

“8th Grade Powder Puff Game- On Friday at 2 pm, 8th graders will be able to attend an in-school event from 2-2:50. The cost of attending the powder puff game on Friday will be $5/ student. They will purchase wrist bands during PE class. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Beauregard Junior High School. Students not attending the event will remain in class during 6th period. Concession will be available as well for all those attending.”

All ChMS Cares Members 9in the skit or not) should meet in Ms. Wigley’s room tomorrow morning before school for an act of kindness that you don’t want to miss.
