Congratulations to Hunter Ingram for being the only 8th grader to qualify for the High School State Wrestling Tournament
Current Beta Club members, but NOT new invitees, will meet in the library on Friday at 7:20 a.m.
Heroes, Cards and Comics Club will meet in Coach Lovett’s room this Thursday (2/13) from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.
Any current 8th graders planning to play football at the high school needs to pick up an information sheet to join the Google classroom for 9th grade football. The sheet can be picked up at the front office or with Coach Butler. You will need to join the group and complete all DragonFly eligibility paperwork to participate in workouts. Email Coach Goodwin with any questions you may have.

The Miss Chelsea Middle School Pageant is March 7th – you can get information from Mrs. Nivens in room 105.
6th gr Blue Valentine Dance is today, (2/11), 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 ea and will be on sale through lunch today – Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. Concessions will be sold and a photographer will be available.
During the month of February the Peer Helpers are coordinating a supply fundraiser for the Shelby Humane Society. Look for posters regarding supplies needed. Items may be dropped off with Mrs. Brown in the 6th gr hall, Mrs. Howard in the 8th gr hall and Mrs. Van Der Geest in the 7th gr hall. Supplies needed are:
· Canned wet puppy or kitten food
· Canned wet dog food (solids)
· Dry kitten food (unopened bags only please)
· Non-clumping clay cat litter
· Cat toys
· 14 x 11 x 4 cat litter boxes
· Small washable blankets
· Towels
