Announcements – February 18, 2020

All Beta Club invitees must turn in their forms and money by Friday join Beta Club and be inducted next month. If you need another invitation package, go to room 30 to get one from Mr. Stafford. 

The Beta Club Induction Ceremony will by March 10th at 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Malone’s 5th period theatre class should report to her classroom in the 8th grade hallway today and the rest of the week.

Friday will be Athletic wear day – $1.00 for athletic wear and $1.00 for a hat

All current 6th and 7th grade girls who are interested in trying out for Middle School Dance or Majorette teams need to stop by Ms. Donnenwirth’s room on the 7th grade hall to sign up and get the google classroom code.

Attention 8th grade girls: High School Dance Line and Majorette Line Clinic/Tryouts will take place March 9-13 in the Chelsea High School Gym. A parent information meeting will be held at Chelsea High School on Wednesday, February 26 at 5:30 p.m. For more information, please follow the link below:

FBLA will be selling popcorn, chocolate fortune cookies and lollipops on Tuesday Feb 18 and Thursday Feb 20 in the gym lobby at 3:00.  Items are $1-2.

Any current 8th graders planning to play football at the high school need to pick up an information sheet to join the Google classroom for 9th grade football. The sheet can be picked up at the front office or with Coach Butler. You will need to join the group and complete all DragonFly eligibility paperwork to participate in workouts. Email Coach Goodwin with any questions you may have.

During the month of February the Peer Helpers are coordinating a supply fundraiser for the Shelby Humane Society.  Look for posters regarding supplies needed.  Items may be dropped off with Mrs. Brown in the 6th gr hall, Mrs. Howard in the 8th gr hall and Mrs. Van Der Geest in the 7th gr hall.
