The Chelsea Middle School baseball team defeated Hueytown last night with a score of 12 to 7. The team did an excellent job of overcoming early adversity. The Hornets were able to score 12 runs in the bottom of the 6th with patience at the plate and key hits by Ben Garner, Carter Frederick, and Joel Sams. We appreciate everyone who attended last night’s ball game. The baseball team’s next set of games are a double header tomorrow against Homewood starting at 10 o’clock.
All pageant forms need to be turned in to Mrs. Nivens today.
All JUNA students should see Ms. Collins or Mrs. Csiola before leaving school Friday.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Monday morning in the choir room at 7:11 for games and snacks. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to attend.
The 7th & 8th gr Valentine’s Dance is this Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Dress is semi-formal. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. You can buy your ticket from Ms. Elliott, Ms. Spinks or Ms. Houston during lunch.
All 8th grade girls who are interested in trying out for the Chelsea High School Dance or Majorette team need to visit the CHHS Stars blog and fill out the paperwork. Paperwork is due to Mrs. Moody by Wednesday, February 24th!
