The Shelby County FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) Cook-Off was held at the University of Montevallo on 22 November 2013. This is an annual event and students from across the county compete in three categories – Beef, Dairy, and Poultry. Chelsea Middle School was represented by Megan Meyers and Vincent Orlando. Megan entered the dairy category with Cookies and Cream No-Bake Cheesecake. Vincent entered the beef category with Penne with Beef and Arugula. Vincent won 1st place and receive a prize check. Both students represented our school in an outstanding manner and I was very proud of both Megan and Vincent.
