Interested in representing your grade-level? Run for SGA! Pick up your packet in the main office or Dr. Scarbrough’s office!

The robotics club will meet tomorrow at 3:20 in the 6th grade pods in C-2. Please do not go to the pod area until this time. Please make sure to have the registration fee that was mentioned at the parent meeting tomorrow if at all possible. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Thompson at bthompson@shelbyed.org

Due to renewed interest, Additional times have been added for Chelsea Singers auditions. They are posted on Mr. Mandt’s door. See Mr. Mandt if you are interested.

Due to the High School football game being played Thursday and coaches’ responsibilities during that time, the Chelsea Middle School baseball tryouts will be Friday September 7th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. and Saturday September 8th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Players should bring their glove and come to tryouts wearing a cap, shirt, pants, and cleats.

Again, there will not be any walk-up sign ups or paperwork accepted the day of tryouts.

FBLA membership dues need to be turned in by Friday 9/7. FBLA members interested in attending district workshop on 9/18 see Google classroom for field trip info.

Any 7th or 8th grader interested in Art Club needs to pick up an informational form outside of the art room. The first meeting is Thursday, Sept 6

6th, 7th, or 8th grade students interested in learning to play a fast-paced game with buzzers and trivia questions from a variety of topics including math, science, sports, music, literature, mythology, current events and more should try-out for Scholar’s Bowl after school on September 11th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Students who are invited to be on the team will travel in the Birmingham Metro League against Berry, Vestavia, Liberty Park, Pizitz and more before going head-to-head against every middle school in Shelby County in February.

All students interested in trying out for tennis should turn in their paperwork to Coach Green by FRIDAY, SEPT 7

Flu shots will be given at school for students on Oct 17, 2018. Forms will come home as soon as we have them. YOUR STUDENT WILL HAVE TO HAVE A COMPLETED FORM WITH SIGNATURE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FLU SHOT CLINIC AT SCHOOL. Please contact school nurse if you have any questions.
