Parents

1. Beta Club will meet in Mr. Stafford’s Room (Room 30) on Friday at 7:20 a.m.

2. The deadline for 8th grade personal ads for the yearbook has been extended until 12/05/18. Instructions are available on the yearbook blog!!

3. The Chelsea Middle School Bands will present their concerts on Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Chelsea High School Auditorium. We will be accepting non-perishable food items as “admission” to support our
hometown Heavenly Smiles Food Pantry.

Each band is scheduled, so that our families and friends can come and go as needed.
Beginning Band 6:00 p.m.
Concert Band (7/8 grade) 6:45 p.m.
Symphonic Band (7/8 grade) 7:30 p.m.

4. FBLA is making care baskets for the parents of babies in NICU. We are asking for donations to put in these baskets. Please consider bringing items such as magazines, comfy socks, travel size toiletries,
snacks, or anything else you would find useful in a hospital waiting room. There will be drop off bins located at the main office and in Mrs. Smith’s room in the 6th grade building.

5. ChMS Cares reminds you to please bring in a small unwrapped toy or gift care for Salvage Christmas. Salvage Christmas is a toy drive to benefit children in Panama City from birth to 12th grade impacted
by Hurrican Michael. Drop off locations are in the following places: 6th grade – Mrs. Arrington or Mrs. Stallings, 7th grade – Mrs. Evans, and 8th grade – Mrs. Howard. Donations will be accepted until
Wednesday, December 5th.

6. FBLA members – There will be a short meeting on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:15 a.m. in Mrs. Smith’s room.

7. Miss Merry Christmas Pageant will be Staturday, December 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the ChMS cafeteria. See Mrs. Nivens’ blog for a link to the pageant page for details and to sign up.

8. The Winter Dance is December 7th from 5:30 – 7:30 for 7th graders and 6:00 – 8:00 for 8th graders. Tickets cost $10.
