8th gr girls trying out for JV cheer need to turn in your packets to Ms. Cook ASAP.

Golf Tryouts are tomorrow (Tuesday) AND Wednesday @ Cross Creek Driving Range from 3-5 p.m. Please make arrangements to be there BOTH days if you are trying out. Please see Mrs. Sentenn (Room 8) before 8th period Tuesday to sign up for tryouts.

Students who were assigned After School Detention (ASD) last week and were not able to attend due to the weather, will be re-assigned ASD for tomorrow afternoon (2/18).

Students planning to run track: practice will start this afternoon from 3:15 – 4:45. You must have a current physical to participate.

The Parent Orientation Meeting for rising 7th and 8th graders has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 20, at 5:45 p.m.

There will be a clinic for 6th and 7th gr girls interested in trying out for Starlets Dance Team or Majorette. The clinic will be Feb. 27 from 3 – 4:30 p.m. to review new requirements for tryouts. There will also be clinics March 15 and April 12 to prepare for tryouts in April. If you have questions, see Coach Nivens, Coach Burdette or the Starlets Blog.

Coupon Book sales will continue until Feb 25. Students can earn prizes as well as open seating lunch passes to sit anywhere you want. Also, if you sell 5 or more books, you will receive a year- long open seating pass! Good Luck and Happy Selling!
Teachers, please remember to send Mrs. Garner the names of students who sold coupon books and the number sold. Also, remember to send the coupon books, the students turn in.

The 7th and 8th gr Valentine’s Dance will be this Friday, Feb. 21. Tickets will be on sale this week. Tickets are $8 before the dance or $10 at the door. Pizza, soda, and a cookie can be bought at the dance for $3. Photo booth pictures will be $1 each. The attire is semi-formal.

Miss CHMS Pageant and Little Miss Chelsea Pageant will be on March 8th in the middle school gym.

If you would like to order one of the new ChMS tee shirts, stop by the office and pick up an order form.

Remember to bring in your “Box Tops for Education”. This helps to raise money for our school. Turn your box tops in to your Math teacher. If you turn in 50 box tops, you will receive a pass to sit where want to during lunch.
