We had a great time at the 4H Center last Friday. We learned the structures of a fish and went fishing. The kids had a blast trying to catch a fish. Before lunch we went to one of the classrooms where we learned about food chains, beak adaptations, and toe arrangements. We also got to meet an owl that lives at the 4H Center named Whitman. After lunch we got to learn all about insects and even got the chance to catch insects so we could get a closer look at their body segments and characteristics. It was an awesome day and we are so thankful for all of the parents that were able to join us!
