Monday: DRP Week 27, Rewrote the persuasive essay and peer edited
Tuesday: Spent time in computer lab typing the persuasive essay
Wednesday and Thursday: reviewed the MLA powerpoint. It can be found off the link on my blog—Owl at Purdue/MLA. Click on that and there is a powerpoint that can be watched.
Friday: Watched DVD of unsolved mysteries/unexplained mysteries
This week we are:
Monday: DRP Week 28 , Anticipation Guide to The Odyssey, discussion, hand out table of contents page, notes—Epic and Myth worksheet—do together
Tuesday: What makes a hero? Pages 954 to 955 Meet Homer: Pg. 958 to 959. Building Background and write down vocab for The Odyssey, part one. (Four vocab words). Put in folder as number 3. Go over characters on 962, passing out papers/portfolios
Wednesday: Begin reading Part One, An Invocation. Read aloud/listen to CD and discuss. Read as much as possible in Part One
Thursday: Same as yesterday—part one
Friday: Questions on page 979 1-8 Write questions and answers. Underline or highlight answers.
