3. Check on dialect worksheet/questions at my desk
4. Review dialect worksheet and questions
5. Give rubric for narrative essay if I haven’t already
6. Read chapter 5/listen to chapter 5

1. Bellringer 2: Vocab
2. Quiz on Chapters 1-5, 15 questions, Multiple Choice—UPDATED 9/23
3. Check those questions for chapters 1-4 that I didn’t check yesterday–UPDATED 9/23
4. Summary square for chapter 5
5. Give worksheets  for Figurative Language,  Types of Conflict, and imagery
6. Work on these for rest of period OR go ahead and listen/read chapter 6

2. Turn in Narrative Essay for a GOLD GRADE. Must be typed. Refer to the rubric I gave you.
3. Summary Squares for chapters 7 and 8
4. Give questions for chapters  5-8
5. Quietly answer questions for rest of period. Read chapter 9/10 for hw
