“The Situation Room” by Stephanopoulos – history of Situation Room in the WH – enjoyed it
“Green Eggs and Ham Take a Hike” – another Dr. Seuss adaptation
“The Voice of Math” – Kester – meh
“The Why is Everything” by Silver – NFL read
“The Boy Lost in the Maze” by Coelho – needed something to read over the weekend
“In my Time of Dying” – Junger – interesting read about death and how we prepare
“The Other Talent” by Fitzgerald – really, really liked this book
“Smart, not Loud” by Chen – meh
“The Blurred Cross” by Bauckham – good book – a theologian fears he’s going to lose his sight – and he loves to read
“Just Add Water” – Ledecky – great, great book – dedicated young woman

“Far Beyond Gold” – McLaughlin – funny that I wouldn’t enjoy this book – sprinters/hurdlers – different breed:)
“To the Lighthouse” by Woolf – was recommended – it was okay
“On Call” by Fauci – very good book – interesting read – had forgotten his work in the AIDS crisis
“The Truths We Hold” by Harris – read this the week she announced to be president – was a YA book in the county system – gave me background on her
“The Adventures of Mary-Jane” by Jahren – really enjoyed this one – good in many ways – companion book to Huck Finn
“Democracy or Else” by Favreau – fun read
“River of the Gods” by Millard – over-promised, under-delivered
Game Plan – Mancias – Lebron trainer – wasn’t great
“10 Mindframes for Visible Learning” by Hattie – PD book for the year – read it opening weekend of school
“Twin Ambitions” by Farrah – bought for $1 at North Shelby the first weekend of school – was good – but lots has happened since it was published
“The Last Manager” by Miller – Earl Weaver – good read
“Brave New Words” by Khan – AI and education – very interesting
“The Ancient Eight” by Feinstein – Ivy League football – fun read – enjoyed it
“On the Edge” by Nate Silver – gambling – not my favorite topic – still interesting
“The Inside Game” by Magness – really, really great book – highly recommendable
“Young Woman and the Sea” by Stout – great book – great movie but great book too
