okay, so this is the week we “come” back – the quotes b/c i was there last week – i’m sure you’re all not very excited about it – but i am – good things coming in my room this year
as for books…
not sure the title, but i read a book by herschel walker – former uga running back – former NFL player – walker talked about multiple personality disorder – a disease he struggles with – learned much more about him that this though – he’s a scholar – he loves God – he was a jerk (to his wife) – great book – good football book
“the Bible in world history” – nook book – good refresher for me – considering i’m years out from studying ancient civ – learned some things that explain why things were the way they were in the old testament – like darius’ reign in the persian empire that helped judah survive
“guys read: thriller” – by jon sciezka – collection of contemp YA authors (even female ones) writing “thriller” stories – short stories – pretty good – like most collections, some are better than others – i liked the one by walter dean myers – made you think what character in the story was most admirable – there wasn’t anything particularly “guy-ish” about the book though – one interesting thing to me was how each author seemed to have a different definition of thrilling – as i guess my classes would too
“the NEW right brain way to learn to draw” – something like that – anyway, book by betty edwards – a book about how to draw – as someone who quit getting art lessons at briarwood in, oh, about sixth grade, it was a book i learned a bunch on – particularly the chapter at the end of the book on handwriting – started working on my cursive – something i haven’t done in years – while outlining the pastor’s message today – i like trying new things i know absolutely nothing about – occasionally – so it was a great read
well, off to throw the tax-free supplies i bought in the car for the trip to CMS tomorrow – see you all thursday – you’re already in my prayers

hey mr mayfield i am going to blog for ten minutes today and try to finish my blogs. anyways i will blog for ten minutes on authors purpose so here we go. i think the author said that the special boat going to liverpool but they ran out of coal and and could burn wood from decorations and then fogg gave him 60 thousand for repairs and they gave him the boat i think that the author in this part is saying that the boat is going to be totaled. the author said that passpartout had no influence over fogg but he said that he did over audia and that i think shows that passpartout had feelings over audia and maybe so does fogg. fogg does like audia i thought he did or he wouldve left her in india
hey mr mayfield this is my second out of third blog today. i finished around the world in eighty days mr fogg gets married to audia and didnt make it around the world in eighty days. anyways i am going to read stargirl now to try to get extra credit. i will blog for ten minutes on my point of view. it starts out that her grandfather has a neck tie and she can find one i would just say ok ill just live without one and be fine and move on. they moved from pennsylvania to arizona i would be complaining because i would have to find new friends and some may think im weird. the gandpa whiped off the tie and gave it to her as a gift i would keep it tucked away in a safe place to remember him. thats it for this blog
Hey Mr Mayfield i am back four the last blog for the day and it will be for ten minutes on star girl on authors purpose. the author said that the grandepaw found the necktie wraped up in a yellow ribon on his fourteenth birthday wich i think means remember the small things too. the author said he got another necktie and we didnt know it but we were being watched i think the author included this part because he wants you to wonder whos watching them. he said did you see her thats what i heard the first day of eleventh grade i think the author included this part because he wants you to think he was set up.
Hey mr mayfield i am back for some of my final blogs i will blog for ten minutes on authors purpose on star girl. the author said did you see her for the second time and i think he said that because he wants you to wonder see who and make you keep reading. he said star girl he looked at a seinor and said who is that the author put that in because thats who it was he was sopposed to see. the author said this girl named hillery thinks that star girl is a scam or an accrtress the author probly meant that every body wont like you so not everybodys your friend. well thats it ill be back later so bye
hey mr mayfield i will blog for ten minutes on the point of veiw from me. they start beleving that star girl is a scam to put school spirt in the school i would be mad if our pirncipal did that. they said so we cant have he ron hot seat i am wondering what hot seat is.the more he saw her the more he thought it was a scam i would be saying to people that she is a scam. at luch she sat by herself and after she got up and started looking at people with a blod face i would be saying why are you starring at me its creepy. he thought she was looking for him i would be creeped out extreamly if she was looking for me. thats it
hey mr mayfield i have two more blogs and then that finishes my summer. i will blog for ten minutes on authors purpose on the book stargirl. the author said she sung happy birthday to a guy named alan and she sung his whole name i think the author included that part because he wanted to show she was acting like she was growing with the students. the author said the whole school was against her and if she was real than the school wouldnt like her much i think the author said that to show that rumors maybe spead and hurt others. well thats it i have a dentest apointment so ive got to run

hey mr mayfield this is my last blog for the summer. i will blog for ten minutes on the authors purpose on the book star girl. he left off she was teamed up on by all the student and told she was a setup by the pricipal witch i think is rude to just say that without knowing it. at the highschool there they were all the same if they were standing out they would just snap back into place like a rubber band i think the author was saying that this place was boiring and dead. the author said she showed up in something outrageous the author put that in because it shows that not everybodys the same. thats it see u in school
