Recess will hopefully be five days a week (if weather permits).
Please know that classes and times of classes are subject to change due to individual student’s needs.
Students can bring a snack daily and snack time will be an “open” snack time (as long as it works) – this means they can eat this snack when they want to because it is a working snack (please try to send closable water bottles or drinks that will not spill, like Capri Suns, etc. and snacks that are not very messy – we would hate to have discolored tests, classwork, textbooks etc.). If this “open” snack does not work, we will have snack during recess or an assigned time. The students usually vote to have a “usual snack time” although they can eat it when they need to or get hungry.
**Please note that Attendance, Journal Writing, Edgenuity, and Reflex will start promptly after the late bell, so please make every effort to have your child at school on time so that they do not fall behind – school starts at 7:50 a.m. at Calera Intermediate School. Thank you for understanding.
