All About Me!
My name is Kimberly Ethridge. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. I have lived in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia and Hawaii. But, I love Alabama the best. After graduating from Pleasant Grove High School, I attended the University of Montevallo and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. I also attended Tidewater Tech and received a certificate in Computers. Teaching is the absolute best job that anyone can have. It is the most fun you can have and still get paid. I have taught PreK, First, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth grade. Math is my favorite subject and has always been very interesting and fun to me. I hope to pass this love on to my students. Of course, I want them to love all subjects, but many get a bad taste for math. I want to show them it is Great! This is the beginning of my 27th year of teaching. At home, we have a 27 year old son, a 12 year old son, an 8 year old dog (Levi), a 2 year old dog (Rip) and a kitty (Addie the Fatty Catty) that just turned 6 And, of course, I am still 22:) I am looking forward to an outstanding year in 5th grade!
