Due to the likelihood of in climate weather, the spring football game has been moved to tonight. The Bulldogs will play at Calera at 6:00. Come out and support our team!

Teachers & Students: Please be reminded that Late Testing for AP will resume today & Fri. Teachers have already received an email with this information. Those students involved with testing are re-minded to report promptly when called.

Seniors: This is your last reminder regarding Final Transcript Requests. It is imperative that you com-plete the request form specific to Final Transcripts and submit to Mrs. Lamonica before you leave. Colleges and universities will not allow you to enroll in classes if they do not have your final tran-script.

The results are in – after a close runoff race, your new Student Body President is Emri Hannah! Good job all candidates on a well-run race !

There will be a mandatory meeting today during 7th period for ALL newly elected SGA officers AND representatives in Mrs. Pastor’s room.

All campaign materials must be removed from the walls and disposed of properly by the end of the day today.

*The SGA Election results are in- It was a close race yesterday!

There can be no more charging in the lunchroom from now to the end of school. Please keep a close eye on you acct balance. If you owe a charge you must have it paid before Friday May 20th. Seniors if you owe a charge Mrs. Dabbs cannot sign your check off sheets until the charge is paid.

Volleyball tryouts be held Wednesday and Thursday. See Coach Niven if you have any questions.

Students with parking permits should park in your assigned space. Students without a permit or in 9th grade are not allowed to park on campus. No one should park in front of the gym foyer.

Today is SGA Election Day! All Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will be voting in their history classes today to determine who our new officers and representatives will be. All grade levels will be voting for the following student body officer candidates:

Secretary: Madison Childress (running unopposed)

*Spring Semester Exam Checkout Forms are due to your history teacher no lat-er than May 17. Please have your parents/guardians fill out all areas being sure to check the appropriate box beside the time you may check out. Please contact the main office should you have any questions or concerns.
*Awards Day will be Friday at 1:00. Doors open at 12:30 for family and guest.
*Volleyball tryouts will be pushed back one week. They will be held next Wednesday and Thursday.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Did you know that your teacher doesn’t get paid to grade your work? They spend on the average 10 to 15 hours on the weekend to grade your work and plan for classes.

Come witness the teachers losing their title today at the Faculty/ Student Basketball game ! Admission is $2.00 and you will pay during lunch .

MHS will have an Alumni Basketball game on May 7 at 6pm in Susie Dement Gymnasium. See Coach Grayson for more information

*Today begins Teacher Appreciation Week. Did you know that your teacher doesn’t get paid to grade your work? They spend on the average 10 to 15 hours on the weekend to grade your work and plan for classes.
*Anyone running for SGA officer or representative needs to get their completed applications with teacher reference signatures in as soon as possible to Mrs. Pastor so you can begin campaigning.
*There will be a brief SGA meeting at the beginning of 7th period today in Mrs. Pastor’s room.
*Ok students, now is the time to knock the teachers down from their title! Faculty/ Student Basketball game is back on! Wednesday, $5.00 to play and must be turned in to Coach D by TOMORROW.!
