*Congratulations to Lacey Hamrick for making the honorable mention all county volleyball team.
*The Winter Formal will be January 14th at the Anna Irvin Dining Hall on UM’s campus from 7 – 11 p.m. The cost
will be $10 and the proceeds will go to Cystic Fibrosis. This is a Sadie Hawkins dance, so girls, ask your special
guy to the dance!

*Make plans to eat at Texas Roadhouse tomorrow night , 20% of sales will go to FCCLA and the Culinary ProStart competition teams.

*Attention GRC Juniors and Seniors: Please remember that you have the opportunity to take a free course at UM pending the meeting of their academic requirements. See Ms. Allen if you are interested in starting a course in Jan.
*What happens when Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and Ebeneezer Scrooge go searching for the Spirit of Christmas? Find out at our production, The Very Merry Xmas Carol Holiday Adventure Show! Starring your friends! Take a break from studying for those semester exams and join us tonight and tomorrow night at 7:00.

*Bulldogs host Calera at home tonight. Seats will fill up fast so get there early. Bring in a canned food item and receive a free bag of popcorn at the concession stand. Fill up Montevallo’s box before Calera fills theirs! Sponsored by FBLA and donations will be donated to Shelby Emergency Assistance. Come support the DAWGS!

Today is the last day for toiletry collections for My Sister’s Place. Please drop off items to the main office.

Don’t forget to dress up in your best holiday sweater , sweatshirt or tshirt TOMORROW and pay $1 during GPS for a Holiday Goody Bag, entry into several gift card and gift drawings, and a best dressed contest! Sponsored by Model United Nations

Class rings delivery on Monday for those who ordered. 7:15-8:00 am in the cafeteria. Information cards mailed to your home addresses.

Juniors and Seniors: A representative from the Lincoln College of Technology in Nashville, TN will be in the library TODAY during both the 11th and 12th grade lunch waves. Interested students should sign up in the Guidance Office.

Attention Seniors: The FAFSA help sessions have been rescheduled for TOMORROW. Students who need help completing the FAFSA can come to the computer lab during English class. Please remember to have all necessary info. Parents are welcome to contact Ms. Allen to schedule an appointment as well.

We will be collecting toiletry items through Thursday Dec 8th to put in Holiday gift bags for the residents. Collection boxes are located History Classes and in the office, and some of the History teachers have agreed to give bonus points for items brought in . Please Donate!
Here is a list of some items we will need:

Yearbooks are now on sale for $50.
There will be a Students Institute Field Trip tomorrow for all participants in that program. Dress casually, there is no cost, and lunch will be provided. You will be called out during the middle of 1st period and will return by the beginning of 8th period. Please see Mrs. Pastor if you have any questions
