*We are celebrating National Heart Month by hosting our 15th annual American Heart Association’s Hoops for Heart Event.  The celebration will take place during PE classes today.  Any student or teacher wishing to turn in donations, please see Coach Jett or Coach Horton.

*Any 8th grade girl interested in the Girl’s Can Construction Camp, please come and get a registration form from the front office. The application deadline is April 19th.

*Yearbooks are on sale today for $30.00

*8th grade Girls: You have until the end of the day today to get your packet turned in for Majorettes, Danceline, and Cologuard. Tryouts are next week after school.

*Any 8th grade girl interested in the Girl’s Can Construction Camp, please come and get a registration form from the front office. The application deadline is April 19th.

* Any girl who signed up for cheerleading and did not attend the parent meeting to see Mrs. Campbell for packet. Cheer packet must be turned in no later than Wednesday February 27th. If the packet is not turned in, then you will not be able to try-out.

*Tomorrow is the Teaming Up for Montevallo Athletics at 1pm.  The basketball game begins at 2pm. There will be a silent auction, T Shirts for sale, photo booths, and pizza for sale.

*Soccer will have a home game on Monday against Mumford beginning at 5:30pm.

*Attention 8th grade girls:  It is not too late to become a member of the majorettes, danceline, and colorguard for 2019 season.  You have until the end of the week to contact Mrs. Cabrera at the high school, applications are in the office. There will be a clinic today and tomorrow for a cost of $50. Tryouts for Majorettes, Danceline, and Cologuard for current 8th grade students is Feb 25th-March 1st.

This year’s camp is scheduled for June 10th-14th from 8:30am to 3:00pm each day and will be held at the Career and Technical Educational Center in Columbiana. This is a one-of-a-kind learning experience and is designed to be challenging, yet fun! The application deadline is April 19th.

 *There will be no school this Friday or next Monday.

*The Valentine’s Day Dance will be tomorrow. The cost is $5.00. The PTO will be taking Pre Orders for flowers and candy grams through during lunch. Flowers will be $2.00 each and Candy Grams will be $1.00 each

*Today selected 8th graders will take the NAEP test in Mrs. Huckabaa’s room. Students please be quiet between classes walking by her room. They will be testing from 8-10 and 12-2.
