Announcements:
*Tomorrow we will have a wrestling and basketball fundraiser activity in the gym. It will cost $2.00 to participate in the activity. The wrestlers will play basketball and the basketball players will wrestle. It should be fun to come and watch. We will be on an activity schedule tomorrow.
*The Honor Roll party will be held today at 1:30pm.
*8th graders may still order the panoramic picture until next Saturday, January 16th. The deadline was extended. If you need any extra form, please come by the office.
*Congratulations to Miranda Martin and Evan Zou for auditioning and earning a spot in the Shelby County All-County Honor Band! They will represent MMS at the All-County Festival in February
*Please keep bringing in box tops. For every 10 that you bring in, you will receive two tardy to class passes.
*Literary magazine submissions are due to Ms. Moore or your ELA teacher by the end of January.
*Monday there will be no school due to the observance of the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday.
*Next Tuesday night will be the MMS Open House at 5:30pm. Please encourage your parents to attend. The band and choir will be performing and your parents will get a chance to visit your teacher’s classrooms. The open house will end at 7:30pm.
*The Montevallo Day of Pageants will be held on February 6th in the Performing Arts Center at MHS. The registration packets are now in the office for pick up and are due on Friday, January 29th.
