* Today will be Lead we will be on activity schedule.

*Kona Ice will be here today during LEAD

*Girls will begin after school work-outs on Tuesday from 3 – 5 for both volleyball and basketball.  There will be a parent meeting for volleyball and girl’s basketball players on Tuesday, April 23rd at 5pm here at MMS. See Coach Jett if you have any questions.

*Talent Show applications are now available. They can be picked up in the choir room between classes. You can also let your 1st period teacher know you would like one. And they will have it for you the next day.

*Any 8th Grader if you would like to order a copy of the Class Panoramic Picture that was taken last Friday you must mail in your order envelope by tomorrow. Don’t miss out. This will be your only chance to order. Be sure and give your order envelope to your parents. Extra order envelopes are available in the main office.

* MMS cheerleaders will be hosting a SPIRIT night at Bertelone’s Italian Restaurant from 5-9 tonight.

*MMS Students have been doing a great job of bringing in books for the Peer Helper Book Drive! But we need a lot more for all the children that Shelby Emergency Relief serves. So please bring in your gently used books for the little children before the drive ends next Friday. Make sure that your name is on the books that you donate and either leave them in one of the boxes or bring them to Mrs. Day’s room. If you don’t have books, you can drop off money to buy books. A donation of two books or $2.00 is a tardy to class pass.  A donation of $3.00 or $3.00 is a homework pass to a class of your choice and  donation of 5 books or $5.00 your name goes on the the No Break List to Break for May’s Break. A donation of 10 books or $10.00 gets you free time in the gym, a tardy to class pass, a homework pass, and the get off the no break list.

*For every 10 box tops you turn in you will receive 2 tardy to class passes.

*Yearbooks are on sale today for $30.00. They go up to $35.00 next month.

*The 15th annual Keith Adair Memorial Farm Day will be tomorrow at Orr Park from 10am-2pm.  There will be many things to see and do like an Easter Egg Hunt, live music, a tractor/car show, petting zoo, and other activities. It is free admission.

*Next week is state testing for 7th and 8th grade.  Please be here at school and be on time.  No cell phones will be allowed in the testing rooms. *All FCCLA members need to report to Mrs. Day’s room at the beginning of 4th period today for a short meeting.
