August 30 Announcements

SGA Representative applications are due today at 3pm.

Phase 1 Community Service Club is accepting applications until Friday, Sept. 6th. Applications are for current 6th graders, and for 7th and 8th graders who were active members last year. Applications may be picked up in the office, Mrs. Nobles’ room A-19, and Mrs. Lancaster’s room A-4. Phase 1 meets after school once per month to volunteer our time to help others within our community. OMMS always participates in an enormous Phase 1 canned food drive to benefit OM Missions and Manna Ministries. We have fun and provide a service to others. Please return the applications to one of the areas listed above.

7th graders interested in going on the Washington DC trip (Thursday, February 13 – Monday, February 17, 2020) need to complete the Google Form.

Thursday, September 5th is our first pep rally!  Students and teachers dress up in your favorite punk/rock star attire and we will be honoring our 8th grade teams!

Booster Meeting – Sunday, 9/8 at 6pm in the OMMS Media Center.  Coach Schwartz will be there to discuss the women’s golf program.  We will also be discussing the gala and the Santa breakfast as well as other fundraising for year.

The Washington DC Interest Meeting is scheduled for tonight at 6:00pm in the OMMS Cafeteria (enter through the gym door by concession hall).

ALL cheerleaders need to wear their RED GAME DAY SHIRTS to school tomorrow. 7th grade cheerleaders do not forget to bring everything needed for the game so you can change in advisory TOMORROW!!!

Back to School gala is TOMORROW from 1-3!  Tickets are $7 and will be sold on Friday morning only during your 1st period class.  Pizza and drinks are $2 each!  Candy and Krispy Kreme donuts are $1 each!  Remember to bring your money tomorrow morning!  Cell phones will not be taken to the gala.  Phones should stay in your locker in the off position as always.

7th & 8th Grade Open House Information

7th & 8th Grade Open House tonight from 6-7:30pm.  Please report directly to your student’s 1st period classroom.  Medication may be dropped off tonight with the school nurse. Please remember that over the counter medication must be new and unopened.  Medication is discarded at the end of each school year, if not picked up by a parent.
