September 3 Announcements

Phase 1 Community Service Club is accepting applications until Friday, Sept. 6th. Applications are for current 6th graders, and for 7th and 8th graders who were active members last year. Applications may be picked up in the office, Mrs. Nobles’ room A-19, and Mrs. Lancaster’s room A-4. Phase 1 meets after school once per month to volunteer our time to help others within our community. OMMS always participates in an enormous Phase 1 canned food drive to benefit OM Missions and Manna Ministries. We have fun and provide a service to others. Please return the applications to one of the areas listed above.

First Priority will meet tomorrow morning in the choir room at 7:20 am.

PEP RALLY Thursday: “Punk Out the Pirates.” Students/teachers please dress up in your favorite punk/rock star attire Thursday. We will be honoring our 8th grade teams.

All SGA candidates should stop by A-17 to verify that your name will be spelled correctly on the ballot.  Also, candidates are reminded that posters should be attached to the cork strips in the hallways…not taped to the wall.

7th and 8th grade cheerleaders are reminded that pictures will be taken after school on Wednesday. Practice will end at 5:30.
