OMMS September 21 Daily Announcements

Due to our new staggered dismissal process, carpool flow, and increased traffic, if you need to check your student out of school prior to dismissal, please plan to check them out NO LATER than 2:35 pm.

Due to considerable traffic on 119, please make plans to arrive no earlier than 7:15 am.  Students may not be dropped off until 7:15 am.

Students should bring their personal or school issued device to school with them everyday. Devices should be fully charged before arriving to school.

6th graders are reminded that tomorrow is Immigration Day and you should come to school dressed to play the part.

8th graders are reminded that tomorrow is your dress up day to celebrate the completion of The Outsiders.

Enrolling in Publix Partners is an easy way to support OMMS!  See the attached information!

Our Choral Department is collecting gently worn shoes as a fundraiser and would love your help. Clean out your closets, ask friends and family. You can drop them off at Heardmont Park on Sunday, September 27th from 3-5 near the stadium with a few of our choir moms. Or you can email ommschoirfundraising@gmail.com to arrange a pickup. (Please do not bring any shoes to the school.)

Students interested in Winter guard should see Ms. Waites in classroom C-9 for information.

Any student interested in running for an SGA officer or representative position, may pick up an application in one of the following classrooms starting tomorrow:  Mrs. Higginbotham (A17), Mr. Wood (A5), Mrs. Acton (C20).  Note: to run for President or Vice President, you must have been on SGA last year; to run for President you must be an 8th grader. 6th graders may only run for SGA representative positions.  Completed applications are due by 3:00pm on Friday, September 25.

Neck buffs have arrived!  Neck buffs and t-shirts, from the Athletic Booster sale in August, may be picked up by parents in the OMMS front office.

Good luck to our volleyball teams in their games at Berry today!
