The OMMS Library will be hosting a Follett Book Fair October 16th-23rd. Traditional students will be visiting the fair with their ELA class. Phase 1 Community Service Group Applications. Making a difference begins with you! We are a community service group that meets after school once per month to help in our school and community. We will accept applications from past members and current 6^th grade students. Due to Covid 19, we will have a smaller group this year. Applications may be picked up outside of A-19 (Mrs. Nobles) and returned there as well. Application deadline is Friday, October 23, 2020 with no exceptions.

Baseball Tryout Schedule: Thursday 10/22 4:00-6:00; Friday 10/23 4:00-6:00; Saturday 10/24 9:00-12:00; Sunday 10/25 1:30-4:30. Tryouts are at Oak Mountain High School. Basketball and wrestling team members should only attend the Saturday and Sunday sessions. All paperwork must be 100% complete in DragonFly to tryout.

Tryouts for the 2020-21 OMMS Tennis Team will be separated by boys and girls. The girls tryouts will be held Monday, October 26 at 4:00 at Inverness Racquet Club. The boys tryouts will be held Monday, November 2 at 4:00 at Inverness Racquet Club. Players interested in trying out should sign up with Coach Burdett in room B10. Each player trying out must bring a racquet and a can of 3 tennis balls labeled with the player’s initials in Sharpie. All students must have all paperwork 100% completed in DragonFly Max before they are eligible to tryout.

Debate team will meet today from 3-4PM in Mrs. Taylor’s room, (B-14). Parents should pick up their students under the bus canopy at 4:00PM.

Golf Tryouts will be Tuesday, November 10th, and Thursday, November 12th. Sign-up with Coach Tatum. Must complete all information on DragonFly prior to trying out.
