Traditional students were given 2021-2022 registration information to take home on Thursday, April 26th.  Remote students may pick up registration packets at OMMS this week from 9am to 2pm for current 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Registration Update:  We WILL accept residency proofs dated April-July. Please upload your proofs to SCORE by June 30th, if at all possible. Thank you!

Important reminder that leggings are NOT allowed to be worn to school with t-shirts or sweatshirts.  Leggings should only be worn with a dress.  This has been the dress code policy for the entire school year per the SCBOE code of conduct dress code policy.

8th grade picnic for traditional students will be Monday, May 24th.  Admission is free.  Parents, please donate cases of bottled water to the front office.

8th Grade – The deadline for turning in the 9th grade SGA application has been extended to Monday, May 17 by 3:00pm.  No exceptions.  (Give to Mrs. Higginbotham in A17.)  After that, any interested student must wait until applications are available in August at OMHS. 

The 2021-2022 JUNA members will meet Thursday, May 20 before school in A17.  Congrats to the new members:  Addisyn A,  Abigail D, Savannah H, Ethan H, Campbell R, Tate R, Emily S, Mahee V, and Mary W.

SGA is sponsoring Groovy GOOM – a Summer Celebration Spirit Week May 17-21! Grade levels will be competing for points that will count towards the Final Spirit Stick of the year by dressing up and participating in a door decoration contest.  (Winning advisory will win a pizza party & will earn points for their grade level.)

Friday, May 21 – “OM Spirit Day” – wear new t-shirt or any OM colored attire

Phase 1 will meet on Monday 5/17 until 4:00pm.

Students that ride bus 10-11 should report to C west at dismissal today.  Students will ride bus 07-10 and leave at 3:30pm.

All books checked out from the media center are due on May 14th. If a book is lost, see Mrs. Howton or Mrs. Collins to get ideas of where else to look and the replacement cost if it cannot be found.
