OMMS has a new and improved page on Facebook. This should give everyone the opportunity to see the page without sending a friend request. 6th, 7th and 8th grade Scholars Bowl tryouts will be Tuesday, October 5th. If interested, please complete the Google Form on the Scholars Bowl blog located under Clubs and Organizations. The time and location of the tryouts will be announced soon.

If you are interested in trying out for the 2021-22 OMMS Tennis Team, signups are from today through Oct. 22. Please follow the link below to sign up. All paperwork must be 100% complete in DragonflyMax by Oct. 22 to be able to participate in tryouts. Tryouts will be held at Inverness Racquet Club. Girls will tryout on Oct. 25th from 4:00 until 5:30 and boys will tryout on Nov. 1 from 4:00 until 5:30. Deadline to sign up for wrestling is today.  If you have any questions, see Coach White.

If you are interested in trying out for the 2021-22 OMMS Baseball Team, signups are from today-Oct. 15. Please follow the link below to sign up. All paperwork must be 100% complete in DragonflyMax by Oct. 18 to be able to participate in tryouts. Tryouts will be held at Oak Mountain High School on Oct. 20, 21, 23, and 24. 7th & 8th Graders: Winter Guard clinics and tryouts will be held at Oak Mountain High School in the cafeteria on October 18th-21st. Clinics will take place on October 18th-20th from 3:30-5:45, and tryouts will take place on the 21st from 3:30-until everyone is done. You must provide your own transportation to the high school. If you were not able to attend the interest meeting and would like to try out, please come by room G-6 to pick up a packet. All paperwork, including a physical, must be turned in before October 18th. Any 7th-8th grade student with competitive swim experience interested in joining the OMHS Swim Team needs to contact Ms. Hubbard at khubbard@shelbyed.org. The Sectionals Meet will be held in November and students will need to have a current physical on file as well as other paperwork on Dragonfly.
