It’s Back to School season for students across the country which means freshly sharpened 
pencils, new school clothes, and yes, yellow school buses. To celebrate riding the school bus 
back to school, Thomas Built Buses is hosting its first annual Back to School Photo Contest. 
Five winners will each receive a $2,000 donation for the school of their choice.


Visit the Thomas Built Buses Facebook page, and “Like” the page. On 
the special Back to School Photo Contest tab, enter a photo that best 
represents the fun, excitement or nostalgia of the Back to School season.

Entries will be accepted from September 1, 2013 through September 14, 2013. 

On September 15, the online voting period begins for all eligible photos. On 
October 1, the top 50 winning photos from the popular vote will be reviewed by 
a panel of independent judges who will choose the top five final winners (one 
from each of Thomas Built’s geographic areas) based on the following criteria: 
originality (20%), applicability to the theme (20%), inclusion of a school bus or 
school bus driver (20%); composition (20%), and photo quality (20%). 

The winning photos may be used on the Thomas Built website, and in 
promotional materials, as well as print, broadcast, and social media. See
