Free Application Week – During the week of November 4-8, 2019 over 50 colleges and universities will waive the admissions application fee. See attachment below for list of participating schools.
FAFSA Completion Day – Seniors will have the opportunity to complete their FAFSA and apply for college in the SCHS computer lab on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 8:45 A.M. – 9:35 A.M. and 11:27 P.M. – 12:38 P.M.
Gathering Documents You will need several important documents and pieces of information to complete the FAFSA
Student’s Social Security Number or Alien Registration Number
Dates of Birth for student and parents/guardians
Parent’s Social Security Number (if student is dependent)
Prior-Prior Year Tax Returns
Records of untaxed income
Benefits like Social Security, Disability, SNAP, TANF, etc.
Information on cash, savings and checking account balances, real estate assets (not including home)
