Michele Edwards

Michele Edwards has been named Assistant Principal at Calera High School.  Ms. Michele Edwards has fifteen years experience in education and has worked with programs such as ACCESS Distance Learning, My Future, and various credit recovery programs. Most recently, she was a teacher at Chelsea High School, where she served as head coach for the Varsity Girls’ Basketball team.  Ms. Edwards obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English and Health Education and a Master’s degree in Health Education from Troy State University.  She earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration at Jacksonville State University.  Ms. Edwards also earned a Ed.S. and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama.
