We are beginning our unit on fractions by learning how to reduce fractions as well as identifying a least common denominator. Students have a fair amount of homework tonight but please realize, many of the problems were worked together in class!

Students, please remember to study over your study guide, look through your math notebook, and use any other resource from our class to prepare for our assessment tomorrow. Students were given a study guide today that encompasses all skills that will be assessed on the exam. Students should come with their study guide completed so we can go over all problems and clarify any questions they may have!

Students reviewed Greatest Common Factor (GCF) today during class. Students were reminded of how to find factors of two or more numbers and then to identify the one factor they have in common that is the greatest. Problems #1-10 were completed in class together. Problems #11-20 were assigned for homework and will be checked tomorrow in class for a grade.
