Our new unit of study focuses on ratios! Today students learned that a ratio is simply a comparison of two quantities. We are also discussing three different ways that ratios are written:
-using words ( 3 girls to 4 boys)
-using a colon ( 3 girls: 4 boys)
-as a fraction ( 3 girls/4 boys)
