Welcome to geometry! Students reviewed the steps for calculating perimeter today in class. Although perimeter is simply adding up all the sides of a figure, we also explored some formulas for calculating perimeter as well:
P = 4s (four x side) (this is for squares only)
P = 2w + 2l (two x width + two x length) (this is for rectangles)
