ANNOUNCEMENTS: 10/29/14

Support Red Ribbon Week by signing the pledge to grow up safe, healthy, and drug free. Peer helpers will be in the cafeteria on Friday with a pledge you can sign to show your support.

Peer helpers will need to meet today during 5th period in the library. (Wed, 10/29)

If you were selected to participate in “Outside – In” tomorrow, it will be held in the 6th grade gym. You will go to 1st period and will be dismissed over the PA around 8:00 am. Snacks and lunch will be provided unless you want to bring your own.

JUNA will meet until 4:30 this afternoon (Wed. afternoon, October 29) in the library.

Order forms and money for volleyball pictures need to be turned in to the office by Wednesday, 11/5/14.

This is the last week to order Poinsettias – orders are due this Friday, Oct. 31.

This week, Oct. 27-31, the Beta Club will be sponsoring a Boys vs. Girls Change Drive to benefit Hope for Gabe. Bring your spare change to your history teacher. The side to raise the most money will get to wear Halloween costumes on Friday! Members of the “losing” side will have the opportunity to wear a costume by donating an additional $1 to the cause Friday morning. Costumes must be within dress code guidelines.

This week, Oct. 27-31, the Beta Club will be sponsoring a Boys vs. Girls Change Drive to benefit Hope for Gabe. Bring your spare change to your history teacher. The side to raise the most money will get to wear Halloween costumes on Friday! Members of the “losing” side will have the opportunity to wear a costume by donating an additional $1 to the cause Friday morning. Costumes must be within dress code guidelines.

Book Fair

Parents, please check out the Library webpage on the Chelsea Middle School website for teacher book fair wish lists. You can click on your child’s teacher and see his/her wish list for their classroom. There is also a link to click on and print a gift certificate for your child’s teacher. If you wish you can send an amount and allow the teacher to pick their book or you can pick a book for them. Please print the gift certificate or send a note with the money for your gift to the library and it will be given to your child’s teacher. Thank you so much for making Chelsea Middle School great!

Also, don’t forget, the book fair will be open until 7p.m. this Thursday. Please stop by as you pick up your child from Ultimate Frisbee.
