WASAP STANDS FOR WONDERS SPARKS AND PREDICTIONS. WASAP is a way to connect to what you are reading. Reading comprehension increases for students who make connections to what they read including both fiction and non-fiction.
On Moday we will read “Don’t Let the Bed Bugs Bite” in class. On Tuesday and Thursday we will be discussing sequencing, internal and external conflict and direct and indirect characterization using the short story. On Wednesday we will be sharing our Independent Reading assessment products and on Friday we will have our vocabulary and reading comprehension quiz for “Don”t Let the Bed Bugs Bite.”. Thursday is a big pep-rally day and game night so make sure you study your vocab a little every night.
