Update for week of November 7

Our selection for this week is ” The Scholarship Jacket” page 339 .Well, with the induction last Wednesday of our 40 eighth graders  into our NJHS, and the controversy surrounding Alabama’s new immigration law,  it was indeed a timely short story we read about a poor Hispanic girl who was to be denied her hard won scholarship jacket. 

Don’t forget the reading log is due on Thursdays along with the vocabulary homework and extra credit if you choose to do it.
