Students were given 2 word lists on Wednesday of this week. They will have a test on the terms and the skills we have learned in class on Friday, August 31. They will not be tested on all of the 12 powerful words yet. Our reading selection for this week is “Ballpark Food” which is on page 12 of our text. It is not necessary to memorize the information in the selection for the test.
Students were given a homework assignment on Friday 8-24 which is due on Tuesday, 8-28.
Assignment:
1. Find 4 examples of text featrures from “Ballpark Food” and list them
2. Find the sentences in the selection where your vocabulary words vendor and usher are used in the informational text selection, “Ballpark Food”. Copy them onto your homework paper
