Monday: Read p. 438 through page 442. Do a close read (twice) of “Preserving a Great American Symbol” , a speech printed in your text and “Jake Wood Baseball is the Start of Something Special”an editorial
Tuesday: complete p. 44 ex 1 and 46 ex1 in GWB
Wed: write a sentence for each selection vocabulary word from “Preserving a Great American Symbol” and “Ain’t I a Woman?” intellect, obliged, stereotype, condemn, desecration endure, indignities, enhanced, forsake, extinction, amendment, collaboration
Thursday: review elements of argument, evidence, persuasive writing discussed in class. review GWB excercises done in class.
