Welcome to your second semester of 6th grade ELA.
Some reminders:
Most importantly, respect yourself, your teacher and your fellow students by paying attention, working hard and allowing other students and your teacher to pay attention and work hard.
You must have your new journal for the 2nd semester with you each day. Also, you should have it in front of the pocket divider in your binder that is for this class. A separate pocket divider is much easier to use than the dividers built into the front of the binder. Your journal can easily fit into the front pocket of the divider and the handouts for this class can easily fit into the back of the divider’s pocket.
You will need a black pen or a sharpened pencil with you each day. If you need to sharpen a pencil do so before the tardy bell rings. Please have 4 college ruled pieces of loose leaf in your binder to use for this class.
Class starts when the tardy bell rings and you should be in your seat, ready to start.
