Typing practice has been cancelled for today. Typing team needs to come to the library at this time and see Mrs. Grainger.
Sno cones will this Friday, May 6th. Prepaid cards will be handed out to your 5th period teacher. Sno Cones may be purchased for $3.
CHMS Cheerleaders are hosting at Zaxby’s tonight (5/3) from 5-9pm.
Peer Helper forms are due by Friday
Boys Basketball Tryouts:
Rising 9th graders: May 9 & 10 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Rising 8th graders: May 9 & 10 from 5:15 – 6:45 p.m.
Rising 7th graders: May 9 & 10 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
You must have a current physical and Tri form on file. Any questions, see Coach Hibbs
7th grade girls interested in trying out for the CHMS 8th grade girls basketball team, tryouts will be Thursday May 5th and Friday May 6th from 3:15-5:30 in the gym. You must have an updated physical to try out. Please sign up outside Mrs. Brown’s room. See Mrs. Brown for any questions.
Attention Girls interested in playing High School Basketball. Evaluations will be held at the High School May 16-20. On Monday and Tuesday (5/16-5/17) from 3:30-5:30 and on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (5/18-5/20) from 5:30-7:30. You must have an updated physical and concussion form turned in to be able to participate. Please see Mrs. Brown for these forms and to sign up.
Current 6th and 7th graders, anyone interested in running Cross Country next fall, there will be an interest meeting, tomorrow, May 4, in Mrs. Burdette’s room at 7:15 a.m.
8th graders don’t forget this is the last week to turn in money for the banquet at Douglas Manor!”
