Mr. Bullock graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Montevallo in 1986. He received his Masters degree from the University of Montevallo in 1991. He has taught in Shelby County since 1987; three years at Valley Elementary, seven years at Oak Mountain Elementary, and 15 years at Oak Mountain Intermediate School. He taught one year in Bessemer City schools. This will be his sixth year at OMMS. His wife, Nancy, teaches at Vincent Elementary. His son, Jared, lives in Auburn and attends Southern Union State Community College; his daughter, Bailey, is a senior at Oak Mountain High School. He will be retiring with 31 years of teaching in June 2017.
