“run for your life” – maybe – it was by jim axelrod – cbs correspondent – just in time for the election, i read a book about a guy that found his sanity by ditching politics and running the NYC marathon – great book from the gifted angle b/c it looked at the whole issue of what you do when your parents appeared perfectly successful to the world – but really weren’t great to you personally – the issue of what you do when you can’t match their worldly success, but you’re a better human being
“believe” by eric legrand – got from the north shelby library – great YA nonfiction book about the rutgers’ lineman who was paralyzed two years ago – very sad book, but a great motivating book about seizing the day – the moment – and being thankful for those around you (he has an incredible mother that is his caregiver – and that can wear on a person – i know)
i also read – reread – a book on alabama prep football by ron ingram and rubin grant – two gentlemen i covered high school football with for a while – great book – much better than trying to rally the bama team during commercial timeouts (or tuning out the kid to my immediate left who was trying to put a hex on the aggies by dancing gangum style – yes, i’ve now gone from having my father as a seat buddy to some random fifth grader – sad…)

WOW, it feels like im finally the first one to blog!!!
But my moment is cut short by the knowledge that there are lots of comments that say “Your comment is awaiting moderation.”
Anyway, to start my blog i am reading the book “Return With Honor”. It is about a pilot who gets shot down by an SA-6 mobile anti air missile launcher. Even though i said that in a blog before, i felt like refreshing all your short little memories. (not calling anyone dumb, just joking around). Anyway, i finally got to the part where scott gets shot down. He is really descriptive in his recount of what happened. BIG WORDS ALL OVER THIS BLOG!!! 🙂 Sorry, its my duty to say it whenever i use a big word. (not that im dumb, i just like my speech to stay simple, for all the people who really are dumb) 🙂 Scott said that the flames were pretty much all around him. (in a much more authorie way) He desribed the adrenaline rush he had. Not the good adrenaline, the kind you get when you are in danger, the kind that makes you all but invincible. ANOTHER BIG WORD, WHOOP WHOOP! I have a friend who said invisible once, but he ment invincible, and his dad and me were laughing at his stupidity. (joking, and he dosent come to our school anyway.) Scott described how it felt when you eject. I never want to eject from an F-16 EVER. He also talks about the reprecussions (BIG WORD) of each back up option if your canopy dosent come open. First you might break a finger, then you would lose a finger, then you would break your hand, then you would lose your hand, then you would sever an arm. that is the bad things about flipping the back up switches. Scott ejected safely though an deployed his parachute.

s i am still reading the book ”Chasin Lincolns killer” and just to give you a little up date this book is a great book i have already read the part where it talks about how Booth the assassinater of lincoln is planning to kill th secretary of the state i just forgot his name but if i remember it i will tell you but anyways he is getting ready to kill the secretary of the state and that is where i think i left off so i have to do one more blog after thyis so see ya and i will tell you more about the book the next time i blog so that is it and see ya

Have you ever wondered what dogs think?some dogs may think about belly rubs and others just want some treats.they probably want to run around all day and not want to be locked up in a cage.I think my dogs are just plan out lazy.they do nothing all day but sleep.when they wake up they just change spots to get warm again.they are told to go outside and they just look at you.they maybe just want to be able to do all that we can do.this is all for now goodbye

hey mr mayfield i will blog for ten minutes on creative one day nerude was walking the halls as she was running from tryouts for cheerleading the cheerleaders always make fun of her and they saw shw was trying out and they wanted to make her feel bad so as she ran they chased screaming at her yelling you stink and dont comeback as she got home she went upstairs and cried for hours as she was crying it came to her move schools and start over so as she started smiling her mom came upstairs telling her they were swapping schools

So, I have read a little more of “Return With Honor.” Captain Scott O’Brian is still falling out of the sky with his parachute deployed. He did a mental check that went something like this, visor, helmet, and other stuff i dont remember. He heard a jet fly over above the clouds and figured it was Wilbur, but he didnt know so he didnt send out the signal that he was stranded. he got rid of the seat that was still attached to him.

Tuesday- Candlewick has discovered that Thornblood is planning a war to destroy Wishworks. He has built up his defenses and has a small group of soldiers in flying chairs led by him. Ben is in one of them and he has his own mission given to him by Candlewick. He is to capture his wishglobe and leave Curseworks. He is then to unwish his unlimited wishes wish. Ben can’t wish for that inside of Curseworks because Thornblood put up a wish-barrier. Most of the flying chairs have been knocked down by curse and Ben almost died. He landed a chair and when he hit the ground he passed out. Ben proceeded with his mission and is inside Curseworks now.
Wednesday- The author’s purpose for writing this part of the story is to show that some people are nice even though they seem mean. Ben’s flying partner was sick with allergies the day of the mission and Ben had to fly with Gene. Gene had always disliked Ben. Ben saved his life when a battlerang almost hit him. After that gene had to like Ben and now they were forced to fly together. Ben’s parents had died in an airplane crash so he was terrified of flying. It didn’t help that he had to fly with someone that didn’t like him at all. After they were in the air Ben realized that Gene was a good person underneath a bad body.
Thursday- Creative- The Germans are coming at us from all directions. I’m shooting them but only three have gone down. There goes number four. Anyways we are directly over a German refugee camp and its ten on one in the air. I shot down four of the planes so it’s six on one. I am flying away and looking for German troops. There is one right below me so I’ll drop my bomb. I hit them right in the middle and most of them can’t fight anymore. The planes are still on my tail. They are faster than me but I can maneuver better. I did a big loop and got behind them. There goes number five and six. four more left. They tried to do a loop like I did but their planes can’t maneuver that good so I easily stayed with them and shot down two more. The other two suddenly split and i chased one. We were over the camp and all of a sudden I couldn’t fly. I landed directly inside of the camp walls.

Well, i guess it’s time to blog. Recently I got a new book and read it. Its a really good book called The Mark Of Athena. Its an interesting book about how seven demi-gods have to save the world from Gaea,the Earth goddess and they have a few problems at first. A ghost possesses Leo and shoots at the Roman Army and they have a huge battle at Camp Jupiter. They escape and travel to Atlanta,Georgia were they meet an old sea god who tries to trap them and kill them by drowning them in a tank at The Georgia Aquarium. but Frank turns into giant koi and they hit the tank and it bursts. They leave and they go to Rome. This is where Annabeth has to leave the group and travel on her own to find the Athena Parthenos. Meanwhile Percy has to go alone and go through Rome and save Leo, Frank, and Hazel. But by the end Annabeth Captures Ariadne in a trap of Ariadne’s own making and she falls into a pit to Tartarus and Annabeth gets pulled in and percy goes with her. They tell Nico that tthey would meet him on the other side of the Doors of Death. And thatsb the title of the next book which comes out Next Fall Im so excited

SIDE NOTES: This is one of many blogs, tonight. I still owe homework from last week, as I stopped NaNoWriMo, well, technically, I stopped doing it for homework.
The author’s purpose of Appendix A is to fill the gaps in the main story, and to give background information on the War of the Ring, such how it started, how Sauron came to posses such power as to make the Ring, and the origins of Middle-Earth. It gives information on the Kings of Middle-Earth, or the Dunedain. (not to be confused with Dunland, or Dunlendings)Even though the kings of Rohan are not of the Dunedain, but of their own kind, the Rohirrim(or Horse-lords), it mainly just follows the Dunedain 😀 . The Dunedain do abide by the ring, other than a few here and there that nearly lead Gondor, or Minas-Tirth, and Middle-Earth to be ruled by The Shadow, The Ring, and Sauron.
Mr.Mayfield my grandmother had surgery so i decided to blog. I still have an updated word count but i didn’t have time to write 4400.
Tues- After the gand leaves atlanta they head to fort sumpter. this is where annabeth starts her quest to find the mark of athena. she goes into the fort and the the door closes. she hears gaea’s voice and then spiders start covering the walls.
weds- since annabeths biggest fear was spiders, she wasnt to happy. then suddenly a red mark started glowing accros the room and killing the spiders. the mark was the mark of athena. the mark goes outside and she follows it. it leads to and old cannon, so she reaches inside and finds a celestial bronze map.
thurs- when she gets the bronze map and puts it into her bag she turns around and finds reyna. they have a long chat about how reyna knows that leo wasnt the one who fired on the camp. annabeth is relieved about that, but reyna cant control the legion from distroying camp half blood.
bobby and uncle press have found the lost city of faar. when they got there they spoke with the council.the council told them they had to save all of cloral by fixing the food problems.also saint dane is coming to destroy them.i’ll see what happens next week.

What will he name me? (Five minutes later) Oh come on! It doesn’t take that long to name a sword, and don’t even think about naming “Hope” it doesn’t fit me. Why did he have to name me that, I don’t like bursting into flames. (Two days later) I love the bursting into flames! Enemies, Fear Us!

Eragon, Arya, and Saphira find the the three spell casters who have been giving the Varden so much grief. The queen of Fienster is in the room.
“Who are you people!” The Queen demands.
“We’re here to kill those magic users, what about you?” Said Eragon.
“Yes, I agree with Eragon!” Said Arya.
“As do I.” Said Saphira.
“And I’m now here to kill all of you!” Said the newly made shade, “Especially you shadeslayer, for killing Durza you have made an enemy out of me and I am more powerful than Durza could have dreamed!”
So since Eragon was distracted by the Queen the three magicians created the most powerful shade in the world so this duel ended badly for all but Saphira who killed the shade who killed Eragon, then ate the Shade. What Saphira didn’t know was that the spirits who control a shade can also take control of a dragon. So Saphira flew to Ura’baen and slayed Galbatorix by herself and then destroyed the Urgals, then the humans, then the elves, until every creature in Alagaseia was gone except her.
(This could have been a real possibility in the book Brisingr)

iam reading the book chasing lincons killer i am at the part where booth is running off of stage and a war officer is standind in the crowd and starts chasing booth, booth runs through the alley of the stage and comes out the back door he runs and takes off to a horse who he thought was his in which it was not he hopped on the horse while somebody sitting outside of the salloon was screaming stop with my horse the man sitting down try to get the horse but booth was just to good of rider he went straight and then took a left on a street that goes to the navy bridge and there are always people who stand over and watch for the bridge to make sure that nobody crosses the bridge at night that is as far as far as i got i will tell you more about this book when i read somemore that is all sosee ya
so now i am going to start off where i ended i am at the part where booth is just now crossing the navy bridge and he was planning on talking the soldiers that guard the bridge into getting over it before the news spreds out about him and lincoln so he tries to ask them they reject everything he says so before youknow it he is off withhis horse sprinting that horse takes off like a banchee while running i am not sure if the soldiers chase him or notbecause that is all i read to this is my last blog for this week if i am not finished with the book by this weekend i will finish off telling you about it next weekend so that was all i was going to tell you TGIF tomorrow and that is all so see ya

The author’s purpose for writing this piece is to prepare for the final chapters of the book, as Frodo becomes under temporary [SPOILER ALERT] control by The Ring and nearly turns to worship The Shadow, fourtantly saved by Gollum, a hobbit ansector, who meant to steal the ring for his own evil purposes, which would drive him CRASY (only 5th block will understand), anyway. Gollum fell under the dark power of The Ring hundreds of years ago, as the longest life known of an actul hobbit is almost two hundred year old.

I believe the reason that J.K. Rowling wrote this book is to (re)introduce the character (what ever you want to call him, he has five or six different names throughout the series: He-who-must-not-be-named, You-Know-Who, Tom Marvelo Riddle, Master, The dark lord, and Lord) Voldemort (if you thought his name with an american accent go back and say it in a British accent: it’s cooler). He was very briefly mention and showed in book one on the back of Quirrel’s head (under his turbin or hat if you prefer) In the chapter the man with two faces. So yeah Voldemort could be back or it could be a chance for Harry to try out his Firebolt. So yeah it could also be for something else entirely…

The reason that J.K. Rowling wrote this book is to show that Voldemort (Avada Kadavra) is gaining more support in more creatures. like at the beginning the dementors attack Harry and Dudley (he has as many names as Voldemort: Dudley, dudikens, Dud, Big D, Stupid, A pig in a wig, and little Duddy) in little Whinging, this signifies that the dementors are joined with Voldemort or have an alliance with Voldemort that will let them go free to pursue their every dream… or worse!

Okay, I bet you’re wondering why i’m doing the same prompt two days straight, right. Well it’s because I’ve changed my mind. This book was written to show the now widening rift between Dumbledore and Fudge. This rift started when Dumbledore started saying Voldemort (!) was back and Fudge just called Dumbledore an old stark raving mad lunatic who has now been lying to his students and him, or Fudge sees Dumbledore as a threat to his position. So this is how I now view Fudge, as a stark raving lunatic, because he passes a education right 23 (something like that) and fills the defense against the dark arts teacher’s post with (idiot) Dolores (Jane) Umbridge, worker for the ministry, Hogwarts high inquisitor, and as Ron describes her A total git or as Hermoine describes her as retched. So just to keep myself from going any farther, I’m done.
