so, epic fail, i didn’t finish a book this week – instead, i “just” got 180 pages into “how star wars explains the universe” – and it’s been a really fun read – honestly, i think i sometimes read so fast because i don’t end up liking the book – but this one, i’m enjoying a lot – including, getting a few class ideas – like using star wars uncut for shakespeare – alexa even liked this idea, so you know it has to be good:)

Me and my dad just got off the port and the ocean looks beautiful already. I ask my dad, how far are we going out with a big smile on my face. He says, As far as you want. I was so excited because we just added our fourth motor to our sea-boat. I said OK… well can I take the wheel and he looked at me for about what seemed to be an hour and said OK but be very careful, this is my prize possession. I said don’t worry, this is easy as sardines with salt and pepper. He said yum! We got so far out in such a quick time that I didn’t even realize it. I got on the top of our sea-boat and said all I can see is ocean! He said that’s good. We look east and see a small little island. I said dad let’s go to it, it will be like the movies that we watch on the VCR! He said OK but be sure to put the anchor out when you park and I see, Ahoy! We’ve maid it. I put out the anchor and we take the canoe to the shore and walk onto the sand. I say this is awesome and my dad says I know. It got dark quick and since my birthday was in three days I ask him. Dad, he say’s yes son? I say for only one day can we pleaseee!!! sleep on the… He stops me right there and say’s lets build a shelter. I say awesome and we start building. Leaves, sticks, and other stuff was used. We wake up and the boat, anchor, and canoe is gone! I said what happened last night he said well here we are…
